Why I Choose Crime Thrillers

There is nothing more intriguing and enticing than the genre of crime thrillers. It's a world of mystery, mysticism, complex characters and complex societal issues. It has always been my go-to genre. I can still recall the very first book I picked during my first year at University, Richard Montanari The Rosary Girls- it engrossed me immediately.  It was the enticing plot, characters, twist and the unforgettable villain/serial killer. In this post, I would like to share why I chose crime thrillers.   1.  The psychological depth fascinates me . Crime thrillers ...

A warm and bloody welcome to my little world corner of the internet- where crime meets creativity and thriller takes shape. If you're like me and love mysteries, psychological twists, and the adrenaline rush of a well-crafted crime story, you're in the right place.   WHO AM I?   I am a writer and published author of crime thriller books from Namibia. My deep passion for crime writing runs deeper than my love for a chocolate cake. I am fascinated with crime fiction and a sucker for a bloody murder case and it goes beyond just reading and writing- I have four to five unfinished manuscripts and a mini library packed with crime fiction books. My favourite author is Patricia Cornwell. I adore and am a geek for the way she writes her stories- so detailed and so thorough.  My writing journey started in my first year of University when I picked up The Rosary Girls by Richard Montanari. This book would later open the door for me into the crime thriller world. I love dissecting the...
